Overview of Calspan's Flight Research Group (FRG)
- For over a half-century Calspan's Flight
Research Group (FRG) has been a major contributor
to aeronautical research and technology development
for wide variety of aircraft types from fighters
to transports.
- FRG has pioneered the development of
In-Flight Simulation technology over the last
fifty years. FRG has built several In-Flight Simulators
and currently operates unique In-Flight Simulator
aircraft. These aircraft are used to
provide a wide range of services to the world
aerospace community.
- With new aeronautical concepts and advanced
technologies, we continue to expand our capabilities
and find new ways to better serve our customers
and provide cost-effective solutions to complex
problems.
